Spanish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]"We'll accept octopus as a pet." From a 1996 advert on Spanish television for Scattergories, in which the owner of the game threatens to take it away if the others don't accept his increasingly more absurd answers (but note that the phrase does not appear in the ad).
