Etymology
From 2014 TV show X-Change (season 8), on which Wang Jingze said:
- 我王境澤就是餓死,死外邊,從這跳下去,(也)不會吃你們一點東西! [MSC, trad.]

- Wǒ Wáng Jìngzé jiùshì èsǐ, sǐ wàibiān, cóng zhè tiào xiàqù, (yě) bùhuì chī nǐmen yīdiǎn dōngxī! [Pinyin]
- I, Wang Jingze, would rather starve, die outside, or jump out of this building than eat food you give!
我王境泽就是饿死,死外边,从这跳下去,(也)不会吃你们一点东西! [MSC, simp.]
at first, but after only 2 hours he said 真香 (zhēn xiāng, “really fragrant”) when he was having supper.
