- (Islam) peace be upon her; a eulogy used after mentioning certain venerated women (see below)
Usage notes
- Sunnis typically use the phrase after mentioning the Virgin Mary, Asiya wife of the Pharaoh, and Eve. Shias also use it after mentioning Muhammad's daughter Fatima.
